Fort Clinch State Park, north of Jacksonville at Fernandina Beach, features sand dunes, a tidal marsh and 1363 acres of beach, not to mention hiking, biking and camping opportunities. To the south, visitors of Orange Park have the chance to wager on greyhounds, thoroughbreds, harness racing and jai alai at the Orange Park Kennel Club. Jacksonville Beach, located on the Atlantic coast, offers a number of attractions, including Adventure Landing amusement park, Shipwreck Island Water Park and Pablo Historical Park. Visitors of this area enjoy not only fresh seafood, but a wide variety of dining choices, ranging from southern-fried chicken to sushi to steak.
